GMB HR168 essentialy is a module for DIN Rails mounting, capable to accomodate a CPU Mini Module type CAN or GMM, either with 28 and 40 pins.

GMB HR168 is complete of Opto Coupled Inputs visualized through LEDs; Relay Outputs visualized through LEDs; a Real Time Clock provided of interrupt and/or alarm output visualized by LED; Connector AMP MODU II, 4+4 pins, for serial communication, A/D line, PWM, D/A and CAN interface, etc.; USB Connector; Connector 4 pins, for I2C BUS. The module's features are completed by a switching Power Supply, with wide input range voltage and by a DC/DC Converter, Galvanically isolated, that generates the power supply voltage for the digital inputs.
In a minimum size it contains a complete controller that can manage all the applications with middle, high complexity with a really interesting Price/Performances ratio.

Left side picture shows grifo® Mini BLOCK GMB-HR168 equipped with grifo® Mini Module GMM AM32 while on the right side picture it is equipped with CAN AVR.

On GMB HR168 can be mounted all the Mini Modules, either with 28 and 40 pins; the complete available resources change according with selected model, as summarized in the following table.

Main features of GMB HR168 are:

Modular container for rails DIN 50022 Modulbox model M6 HC53
Size: frontal 90x106 mm; height 58 mm
Mounting on DIN Omega rails
40 pin socket for the insertion of all the grifo® Mini Modules as: GMM ACB, GMM AM32, GMM 4620, CAN AVR, etc.
16 Optocoupled inputs that can be indifferently NPN or PNP
Power supply of inputs selectable by user, according with his requirements, and displayed by LED with different colours.
Status of inputs visualized through LED. Green LED for NPN, Red LED for PNP
Isolated DC/DC Converter capable to generate power supply voltage for all the Optocoupled inputs; thus the last results powered on board.
Each digital inputs must be connected to Pure Contacts, or in other words, without any additional power supply voltage.
Some inputs can act as Counter and Interrupts.
8 Relay outputs capable of 5 A

GMM ACB Zero: This grifo® Mini Module has a 40 pin connector and it is based on Atmel AT89C51CC03 CPU with 64K FLASH; 2,2K RAM; 2K FLASH for Bootloader; 2K EEPROM; 64K RAM External Addressing; 3 Timers Counters and 5 Programmable Counter Array channels (for PWM, watch dog, compare, capture); 34 TTL I/O lines; 8 A/D 10 bits; RS 232 or TTL; CAN; 2 status LEDs; configuration dip switch; etc.

GMM 4620: grifo® Mini Module has a 40 pin connector and it is based on Microchip PIC 18F4620 CPU witch 64K FLASH; 4K SRAM; 1K EEPROM; 3 Timer Counter ; 2 PWM; 13 A/D; 33 TTL I/O lines;1 Comparetor; RTC + 240 Byte SRAM, backed by Lithium battery; I2C BUS; Master/Slave SPI; RS 232 or TTL; 2 status LED; etc.

2 serial lines. 1 in RS 232, RS 422 , RS 485, Current Loop and TTL. 1 in RS232 or TTL.
1 A/D line with selectable input ranges.
Up to 5 I/O lines at TTL level.
I2C BUS line available for external devices, on dedicated connector.

Real Rime Clock backed by Lithum battery, capable to manage autonomously hour, minutes, seconds, day, month, year and week day.
1 TTL output driven by interrupt or Alarm signal, of the optional RTC, displayed by LED and connected to proper connector.
240 Bytes of backed SRAM, included in the RTC and available for the user.
Connection of all the signals through comfortable connectors, with standard pin outs.
On board Switching power supply.
On-board protection aganist voltage peaks by TransZorb
Single power supply variable in AC and DC wide ranges: 10÷38Vdc or 9÷24Vac.
