PCO 16

Peripheral Coupled 16 Outputs

The PCO 16 is an output module packaged on a single EURO size pcb, for use with the ABACO® Industrial BUS.

The board comprises 16 Opto isolator coupled output lines with indicator LEDs (mounted to the front part) and 16 diodes affording protection against inductive loads.

Typical applications are those calling for a number of logic outputs in modular units of 16; this readily solves the problem of interfacing with a field, optimizing costs at the same time.

The layout of the LEDs, the adoption of a D connector and convenient software control combine to facilitate the use of the board enormously.

An advantageous feature of the PCO 16 is its ability to activate a check on the status of the 16 Outputs, thereby affording a more depenable control.

The option exists of fitting a front panel in aluminium for 3HE or 4TE Rack.

This affords further screening and a secure anchorage by means of two relative screws; removal is facilitated by the inclusion of a convenient front handle.

• Standard type address: 256 bytes of which two only busy; 8-bit BUS
• Option of mounting special front panel for 3HE or 4TE rack

  • +5 Vdc, 90 mA (outputs deactivated)
  • 270 mA (outputs activated)
