LDA 01 card is a powerful Eurocard format card, provided with BUS Abaco® interface. This card belongs to the analog peripherals units list and, in specific, its purpose is to provide two Digital-Analog conversion lines with 12 bit of resolution.

The analog signa is avalilable on two robust UHF sub-miniature connectors that assure a strong mechanical connections and a very low contact resistance.

Two indipendent D/A Converter circuitries warrant a complete separation of the signals. Analog circuitry is capable to generate the signals amongst a wide range of possible choices.

The output signal definition range is assured by two separated groups of jumers, that allow to select amongst the five different output values:

• A) Output signal ranges from 0 Vdc to +5 Vdc.
• B) Output signal ranges from 0 Vdc to +10 Vdc.
• C) Output signal ranges from -5 Vdc to +5 Vdc.
• D) Output signal ranges from -10 Vdc to +10 Vdc.
• E) Output signal ranges from -2.5 Vdc to +2.5 Vdc.

In addition to the two analog lines, also eight NPN Open-Collector galvanically isolated digital outputs are available. The 20 pins output connector is ABACO® standard compliant, this allows an immediate interfacing to several modules for the field, like FBC xxx. These eight auxiliary digital outputs allow to drive directly small external loads or to activate the secondary commands of motor controls without any need to add other cards or electronic interfaces.

A DC/DC converter is charged to generate all the voltages essential for the correct working from the unique power supply of +5 Vdc. LDA 01 card is compatible with DAC 12 card, which has the same features except for the galvanic separation in the analog section.

LDA 01 card can be driven through any CPU board in the Abaco® listing, and takes as low as 4 contiguous bytes in the addressing space.

• Dip Switch to set the I/O mapping of the card
• 2 separated lines of D/A Converter with resolution 12 Bits
• Output voltage selectable amongst: 0/+5 Vdc; 0/+10 Vdc; ±5 Vdc; ±10; ±2,5 Vdc
• 8 digital output signals, optocouplew, with Open Collector NPN transistor
• Visualization through LED of the status of the 8 digital output signals
• Maximum outputs driving voltage, 45 Vdc
• Maximum current for a resistive load, 500 mA
• Unique power supply 5 Vdc, 700 mA
