The LAD 415 is an advantageously high precision and low cost Analog Digital Conversion module, one of the ABACO® family of industrial circuit boards.
The board is composed of four independent 15-bit-plus-sign double ramp A/D Converter sections, with user-selected range and minimum conversion time 25 msec.
Each section receives the input signal for conversion from a convenient 9-way D connector.
An LAD 415 board is the ideal component for all applications where the requirement is for super-accurate conversion, high speed operation and low cost.
Among typical applications are those of interfacing with a variety of precision transducers, and allowing the acquisition of temperatures, by way of appropriate signal conditioning boards APT 100, JKT 07, etc.
LEDs mounted to the front can be piloted by software to indicate the status of the board.
The option exists of fitting a front panel in aluminium for 3HE or 4TE rack.
This affords further screening and a secure anchorage by means of two relative screws; removal is facilitated by the inclusion of a convenient front handle.
