LAD-02 is an intresting low-cost A/D conversin card, from ABACO® Industrial listing.

A specific on-board DC/DC Converter is charged to supply the circuitry that generates the reference voltages.

This feature assures that the reference voltage settings made in laboratory remain stable and indipendent form the BUS power supply.

There are two separate and completely indipendent 10 bits A/D Converters on board, featuring 100 µs of conversion time.

Each section is charged to convert a group of eight input lines connected to its own 20 pins ABACO® standard connector. So, on the board, two 20 pins connectors are installed.

LAD 02 can work matched to both 8 bit CPU cards (Like GPC® 150, GPC® 188F, etc.), and 16 bit CPU cards (Like GPC® 68, GPC® 97, etc.).

The choice of the data bus width is performed through a Dip-Switch, the choice taken has a visuali indication on the board.

  • Voltage input form 0 to +5 Vdc

• R/C filter on all the analog input signals
• Protection on all the 16 analog input signls
• Two standard 20 pins ABACO® A/D input connectors
• BUS can switch between 8 or 16 Bit width. Can operate with Bytes or with Words
• Unique power supply voltage 5 Vdc; 570 mA
