With the Abaco® prototyping cards the user can solve the specific problems not contemplated on standard grifo® cards. Moreover many test and evaluation problems for new component and systems can be tackled with these cards, obtaining a great time saving. In fact many different CPU types with many different software tools can be used together with the prototyping cards.
The common features fo all the prototyping cards are:
SPA 01.
Prototyping single EURO Eard size for Abaco® industrial BUS. We suggest to examine the Application electric diagrams and the SPA 01 electric diagram to check the very simple interconnection requirements of Abaco® BUS.
SPA 03.
This is the simplest Abaco® prototyping card. It has the standard 26 pins connector for a direct connection to Abaco® I/O BUS available, for example, on all the 3 Types boards, and it has also the female connectors for Piggy-Back mounting of all the 4 Types CPU cards. Furthermore it is available the SPA 03 Electric Diagram.
SPA 04.
It is the right card when a very compact system is required, with a good power supply section that provides 0.5 A starting from a mains 230 Vac voltage. The card supplies the common +5 Vdc and moreover a +24 Vdc suitable for a possible optocoupled input section. The board has the standard 26 pins connector for a direct connection to Abaco® I/O BUS available, for example, on all the 3 Types boards, and it has also the female connectors for Piggy-Back mounting of all the 4 Types CPU cards. Piggy-Back
Type 4 CPU card's are equipped with a
back connector duly designed for Piggy-Back
mounting on user's H/D as simple socked component.
This special connector has been studied from grifo®
in order to avoid mechanical stress between housing and card.
